What patterns do you notice when companies operate too long without a strong HR foundation?
1:39
That is a million-dollar question.
1:40
I see it all too often.
1:42
I think a few consistent patterns that I see musicians first do is they go without HR.
1:48
too long um and they don't have that foundation as a first thing and looking at that i would say just the understanding of policies existing to be informal i think they make policies but they don't make them formal enough and they do make the policies they are applied differently across an organization that creates confusion and then the perception is unfairness then secondly is decision making every command or every organization has an idea of what they want to do how they want to do it, but without the proper structure, companies begin to do things kind of unconventionally.

And when that happens, it becomes a problem, whether it's turnovers or compliant risk or employee relations challenges.
2:25
Once that happens, in that sense, it can have second or third order effects like legal complications, accusations of a company, then you get bad reviews for your company and things like that.
