all at once and to say no first you catch it then you confront it and then you can do something with it right and so i really like how you laid out like there is you've got to separate those things out to know what to do i'm wondering as i'm sort of like hearing you talk about all of this stuff happening on the inside and what to do with this inner game jamie how are you sort of like conceptualizing the outer game and what's happening at the same time that leaders also need to attend to.

Jamie RamsonGUEST
Well, I think if I come back to the research that I did in the book that I wrote as a consequence, the outer game, as I see it, is the expectations of the leader.

Jamie RamsonGUEST
And we're not talking about actions, behaviors, or capabilities, which is where a lot of the leadership literature lands, is where a lot of leadership development programs land, which is in how do we develop a set of competencies that we have pulled out of either somebody's model or a lot of times organizations will say, well, we're looking to develop this in our leaders.
