And I think we may even lose creativity.
3:19
I've seen some conversations around that as well.
3:23
I'm not convinced, I'm not convinced, which means I could be convinced, but I'm not convinced that you can't generate creative new ideas in a conversation with AI.
3:34
And people are like, it's only trained on what we've already said.
3:36
And we've already written, it's not coming up with new things.
3:40
I don't think actually that's how it's structured because it's the next word predictor.
3:44
And so it's predicting words.
7:15
And I was really caught by it and valued the conversation because it recognized that so much of what we do depends on being able to know the right person connect with the right person have them engage in what you're doing and all of that has to do with building good solid relationships with people and ai doesn't do that but yeah it doesn't do that
44:34
So how would you describe my advice? Does it fit your categorization?
44:38
Yeah, I mean, I think we share in our background and training the sort of overlap.
44:45
Like in conflict resolution, it's not the mediator's job to solve the conflict, it's the party's job.
44:49
Like in organization development, it's not the consultant's job to fix things, it's the system, right? I brought that into all the work I've done on culture as well.
44:57
So there's an element of I'm setting them up to do their own change.
45:03
Right.
45:04
So that's from a core point of view.

What should a person look for if they think that their organization really needs to change its culture? What is it that they see, they feel?
13:28
Yeah.
13:29
Well, so I mentioned before, like we sort of unwittingly steer ourselves into conflicts that have like the wrong people in the room or are at the wrong time or sort of don't generate the right resolutions.
13:42
It's actually did stem from my culture work and my work in culture change.
13:47
Again, sort of the thesis of Culture Change Made Easy, as the title indicates, is it's not that hard.
13:52
You just have to change some processes and some structures and some systems and use some technologies in new ways, maybe change some HR and talent stuff.
14:00
And if you make those changes, you drive the behaviors you want in your culture.
14:05
And that's what sort of hit me with conflict.

So tell us how amateur comedian sort of became part of your bio and without giving too much away, you know, what sort of role will comedy play in your presentation at Pasture 26?
