We probably know them already 'cause you've documented them in the past, but give us your first car choices, and then on to your first suggestion.
15:25
We do.
15:26
So following on from Jamie's Fiat nomination, my first car I still have.
15:30
I got it 11 years ago now.
15:31
It was my Fiat Seicento Sporting, um, and I loved it.
15:35
I wanted something...
15:36
I was working in McDonald's at the time, so I didn't have much money, and obviously everything is a million pounds to insure, and it's only gone up since then.

16 MINS LATER

31:20
Well, Jamie, what's your third and final choice?
17:34
worse than my house so it's
17:35
sort of like that's my golden rule on holiday i'm not going on holiday anywhere that is worse than where i already live so i'm not going on a caravan i'm not going on a tent i'm far too fat for horses it would have to be a massive great shire horse to carry the weight so it's like so that's so i just want something that's got the the higher driving position um there's one thing out there that i've really i've mentioned it before on this podcast i've got this m156 scratch that i really want to itch and i did the ml63 so it's the m m class ml with that same 6.2 liter m156 500 horsepower v8 four-wheel drive i'd probably go for one end because they're not a fortune and they are still practical enough to do you can tow them if you want but obviously servicing costs and whatever else mean that you know you won't want to be replacing brake pads on them every five minutes so you're towing too much but yeah just for the noise it's just that sound that engine is wonderful I just want that engine I really want a C63 estate it's probably what I should have come for in my estate but yeah I want one of them that's what I've gone for

14 MINS LATER

33:03
So what have you got? I
33:04
keep seeing all sorts of stuff.
33:06
There's AMG Mercs obviously pop up because my algorithm is so loaded to provide me with various Mercedes for sale at the moment.
33:15
So I keep looking at that.
33:16
But the one that caught my eye wasn't actually a Mercedes this week.
33:20
It was, I think I mentioned it on a podcast a couple of weeks ago.
9:03
Yes.
9:04
You know, what's going on here? What's going on? And I fought for that throughout the entire movie, you know, truly.
9:10
And Martha, our director is so brilliant.
9:14
And obviously there were legal guidelines of things that I wanted to, I don't want to say, like, add to the script, per se, in terms of dialogue.
9:28
But I understood that I had to...
9:33
First and foremost, my duty is to tell the truth as an actor.
9:38
Meaning, like, whatever that experience is in the moment, to be as honest as possible.

15 MINS LATER

24:53
Why do you think people are so, why do you think it has stayed with people? In the public?
6:28
Hmm.
6:29
Um, she was at that time currently in jail.
6:32
And, um, and I just, I just felt like there were, like, just so many...
6:40
L- like, how...
6:42
I don't know.
6:43
I, I wanted to know more about where she was coming from, why she was...
6:49
Like, you know, why it happened, because it's just so...

40 MINS LATER

46:53
And don't forget to follow the Flavor Feud drama all summer long on Instagram @Popsicle.
4:23
So the question I want to ask you, Jamie, is, is there any car that you think shouldn't be modified? Where does the cutoff lie? come if at all
4:33
anything you're buying to make money on or want to retain the value on is probably the short answer anything that you want to drive and you want to obviously from the performance end of the market we go into tailoring it to what you want to do is car enjoy it you know make it yours anything like Cosworth for example are now a prime candidate every Cosworth I've ever seen has been modified in some way or another and now all of a sudden they're all getting returned to standard some of them are so-called never been modified in their lives I'm like well I've got pictures of that doing a burnout at Bruntingthorpe mate but it's from back in the day but yeah so there's all this sort of you know everything's go back to standard but that's because the values have sort of dictated that that way from a driving experience and a personal sort of like ownership experience I I don't know I don't think I don't think there is because because there are so many levels of modification you know what do you What do you draw the line at? Are you going to start engine swapping a Fiat Punto with a, you know, convert it to four-wheel drive or whatever else? Probably not.
5:35
But if you then fit the later GT seats or something or a set of turbo wheels to that just to give it a little bit, it's, you know, it is horses for courses.
5:44
So it's a very personal sort of subject.
5:48
There is no answer.
5:49
There is no right or wrong answer.
5:50
It's do what is right for you.

22 MINS LATER

27:51
Jamie, why don't you kick us off? What are you up to? Well, I'm actually
0:50
i hope you enjoy listening complex one but i just
0:55
no no i mean so so the main thrust thrust of that work is is with um adults with mental health so people who've got a condition either bipolar schizophrenia they've been hospitalized for their own safety or the safety of others it's quite cold face acute work and often with these people um The conditions can be managed well.
1:18
The whole direction of travel at the moment within society is to move a lot of well-being practice into the community.
1:28
So this is about, I mean, some of it's about pounds and pence and saving money.
1:31
So I'll give you an example.
1:32
A psychiatric bed costs approximately £750 a night.
1:37
in this country.

29 MINS LATER

30:12
So
0:51
They're back, they're gainfully employed, and, uh, that's gotta make you feel awful good.
0:56
That is exactly the expectation.
0:59
Being a kid from Lansing myself, graduate of Everett High School, Michigan State, and as well as Davenport, that was always important to me, blooming where you're planted.
1:09
And even though these students may go away to our other partner schools that are outside of Lansing, the fact that they're coming back and, and bringing their skills and their knowledge back to import in the Lansing community is second to none.
1:29
Uh, if they had, how would it have changed things for you and your classmates?
1:35
I think we would've seen more of a college-going culture at the time.
1:39
I am so grateful I was raised by two educators.
1:42
Uh, my mother is a K through 12 educator.
61:30
And, uh, that's gotta make you feel awful good.
61:32
That is exactly the expectation.
61:35

62:10
I think we would've seen more of a college-going culture at the time.
62:15
I am so grateful I was raised by two educators.
62:17
Uh, my mother was a K through 12 educator.
3:59
fortune
4:00
one that springs to mind straight away is when i had my cosy because you couldn't drive the cosy every day i had a really really tidy mark 4xr3i that i wrapped around a lamppost i took a lamppost out with it actually yeah i paid about probably i can't remember it was hundreds of pounds it was like probably five six hundred quid for it to run that as a daily because i couldn't run the cosy at university and whatever else So yeah, I smoked around in that for a bit.
4:25
That's one that does straight away springs to mind.
4:27
That's probably still 30, 40 grand's worth of stuff today.
4:30
30 grand's worth of stuff.
4:31
And then the XR3 is what? Six, seven grand, I suppose?
7:27
So give us your best shot.
7:29
Well, my first one is, again, for nostalgia reasons, my very first car was an Opel Manta GTE.
