Louisiana.
36:31
Uh, my opponent, um, basically got caught red-handed signing NDAs and then stock trading.
36:41
Um, that's part, it falls right back into the Louisiana corruption which keeps us basically last in everything, in all, mostly all of the categories.
36:53
We may be, um, 47 or 48th in some, but basically that's last.
37:00
We're last in every category but one, and we're first in stress.
37:04
That's the only one we're first in A- and, um, but it seems to be that when you a politician in Louisiana, you're more concerned about lining your pockets instead of taking care of the people, and that comes along with all of the, uh, these NDAs that has popped up in Louisiana.

So with no further from me, Jamie Davis, take us home, close us out, and tell us why you want to be a United States senator and why people ought to look at Louisiana and see a winner down there.
5:31
How did you talk her into it?
5:33
Well, you know, it's kind of like a little story.
5:37
So, and it wouldn't do the story justice if I didn't tell it to you the way it actually happened.
5:44
So I serve on the Louisiana State Democratic Party as the fifth congressional district executive committee man.
5:52
And I'm on a subcommittee that was built around making sure we were fine candidates for all of the elected positions that were coming up in the upcoming midterms and so um when i was getting ready and building and talking to people to possibly make a run i still hadn't gotten permission from her yet so basically i've built a team and got everything ready but hadn't gotten the answer from the most important person that counts so i'm walking around she decided that she wanted to go to up into the smoky mountains up in tennessee for thanksgiving and i'm watching everything that's going on in america and the way things were going and every morning early during our family event because it wasn't just me and my wife and our children it was you know, multiple siblings and their children.
6:52
And we had one of those big cottages up in Tennessee.
6:56
So I would get up early to catch the news because I knew once the rest of the family get up, me watching politics on TV was over.

Hassle-free all the way to your driveway.
0:25
So we would like to start off by having you tell us who you are, where you're from, and why you are running for U.S. Senate.
0:39
The who am I part is the easiest part of this question.
0:44
My legal status is James Eddie Davis Jr.
0:49
But growing up as a baby boy, I'm a junior.
0:54
And I don't remember it, but I was told that when James was called, both of us answered.
1:04
And somebody in my family gave me the nickname James.
1:09
And it has stuck and been there for as long as I can remember myself.

Do you see AI as a potential tool for a new Jim Crow, if left unchecked? And what would your position be on regulating AI in data centers to protect black, poor, rural, and directly impacted communities?
