Yeah.
6:54
So many.
6:55
So for instance, if you're a small consumer goods brand, everyone will tell you, "Don't start with the supermarkets.
7:00
Build your brand and then go to supermarkets." We're like, "Fuck it.
7:03
We're gonna go to Tesco.
7:04
We're gonna sell to Tesco from day one 'cause that is how we want to build our business." Now, how we went there was like, "This is what we do.
7:10
This is the value we attach to it.

39:27
Okay.
1:30
Uh, w- just give me a sense of what this whole experience has been like for you.
1:36
Yeah.
1:36
Yeah.
1:36
It's, um, it's been honestly a whirlwind.
1:39
Uh, last year was, was, um, like I achieved a lot, a lot more than, than I would've expected at, start of 2025.
1:47
Um, I kind of came into the year ranked about 380, and, um, I started...
1:56
I, I got, was fortunate enough to get given a wild card into the ASB Classic, which is a New Zealand 250 event.

22 MINS LATER

24:28
Who, who ended up holding that mirror up until, like, kind of saying that this is what we need to do in order to make this sustainable?
22:24
Which are the ones that stand out for you that had the biggest ROI in terms of what ones are you most proud of?
22:30
I mean, so many of them.
22:32
It was always just like amazing because we didn't have to answer to anyone and because we could move at speed.
22:37
Like what I loved was Idea Monday morning.
22:40
Fuck it, on Tuesday we're like live with these kind of crazy things.
22:42
Like in that amount of time.
22:45
Like the tank was iconic.

25 MINS LATER

47:38
Tell me where that idea came from, because there's a nice thread, isn't it, to community and how you built the kind of BrewDog presence?
52:00
How was that experience? And just how far away do you think you are? And what are those work-ons for you in the singles game?
52:07
Yeah, I mean that was obviously you sort of ask these questions to yourself before you play with a um, you're going to be up to scratch and you don't want to embarrass yourself out there.
52:20
And, um, I definitely felt like I was, I was in it to win it there.
52:24
Um, especially that first set, I felt like I was, I was playing the bit of tennis and, um, had I, had I taken a couple opportunities and I could have really put the pressure on them and, uh, sort of the flow of that match could have, could have flipped, um, the other way in my favor.
52:40
But, um, yeah, it definitely gave me a lot of confidence and, um, just my game in general that I belong at this level whether it's singles or doubles but you know it just gives me a lot of chance about my general tennis game and that I can compete at the highest level

7 MINS LATER

60:01
yeah um we've talked a bit of rugby we've talked obviously at some basketball as well so at what point did you decide to pull the trigger and make tennis your your number one game
60:14
um it was sort of um there was definitely a couple key moments uh one of them was uh after my year nine year in high school i was about 14. um i went down to queenstown and i caught up with a guy uh named lan bale uh south african guy who played professional tennis um i think he got to around top 100 singles back in the day um and he sort of sat me and my parents and my coach down and said look you have the potential to be a professional tennis player if that's something you want to commit to.
60:57
And that's going to require you to put a little bit more focus in that, maybe dropping the other sports and really sort of dialing in on this.
7:40
How was that experience? And just how far away do you think you are? And what are those work-ons for you in the singles game?
