And so I'm wondering, given what you've experienced and also the younger practitioners that you help now, what are some of the main learnings or advice you would have for those who are embarking on a pathway into performance nutrition about how to front up to the potential pathway of maybe eventually if they do wanna make it in a, an elite sport job? The realities of that, the possibilities of that, but also the timeframe and then also the mentality that is needed throughout that process because it's not an overnight thing, i- if that question makes sense.

Yeah, it does.
15:38
Makes full sense.
15:39
And I wrote about this in one of the books where I interviewed some of the other practitioners.

And I think the numbers, they will be different now, but back then it was like 3,000-ish students graduate every year from sports science, maybe more.
15:53
But if you then look at the amount of sports clubs we've got and how many of those sports clubs recruit, you know, the, the numbers don't align with the amount of practitioners that are graduating.

So you have to, as a practitioner, and, and this is where me going to university at 21 instead of 18 massively fast-tracked my career in my opinion, because I saw the opportunity at Liverpool John Moores.

Uh, is this something you've noticed in practice that at least for some players they might have certain challenges with GI symptoms of trying to refuel to the quantities desired and how you might work around that?
