He used to put on loads of indie bands, so the likes of Kasabian and Arctic Monkeys and Hard-Fi and, you know, th- these bands just weren't regularly coming to Hull, and Ted started this night, put my band on that was at the time, but then also gave me a job, and I think that was quite formative, which even though I didn't realize it at the time, I just wanted to be a part of it.
