So what are some of the sticking points that you, there is a challenge, but perhaps it's a challenge that keeps you here.
12:45
So I suppose I referenced that the property is endlessly engaging and that includes challenges.
12:55
The fact is it's nearly 500 years old.
12:59
There's been an awful lot of people with their hands in the walls.
13:04
You know, there are things and there are still things now that crop up on a day-to-day basis that take me by surprise, take my facilities manager, Carl, by surprise, because A, we haven't seen it before, or B, we didn't know it was there.
13:19
You know, and so...
13:21
That can present a certain level of frustration.

6 MINS LATER

19:21
Tell us a bit about the program that you're involved with.
26:03
Could I just get you up here, James, as a finale? James, from this event today, what are some of your key takeaways? What's it got you thinking about for here?
26:16
I think particular interest to me was the comments around the wedding market, the meetings, events, having HOSPA in the room has been particularly interesting.
26:27
We're not members of HOSPA myself.
26:29
I'm not a member of HOSPA myself.
26:31
So that's not a piece of network that I've had much dealings with.
26:36
So that's been really, really interesting.
26:39
I've loved speaking particularly with that last conversation conversations around the brands brands is where I came from many years ago in the beginning of my career so it was nice to turn that bit of my brain on again and have the conversations and sort of catch up about that but I think You know, the topics have been spot on, exactly what I was hoping we would sort of get into and discuss when we first started talking about today.
4:00
What are you seeing here at Japanese Eastwell Manor?
4:03
That really the only consistency is inconsistency.
4:08
If we're looking at demand patterns and the ability to forecast, it's becoming nigh on impossible.
4:16
And I feel like I've been saying for the last three years that lead times can't get any shorter.
4:22
And yet they are.
4:23
It's shorter and it's shorter and it's shorter.
4:25
And we're now seeing, at Eastwell anyway, we're now seeing business come in on the day for the day, which is ridiculous because we're a country house hotel.
6:31
What was, do you remember some of the things that you came away from and then sort of like implemented within your hotel and had conversations about on the back of that, because that was near six months ago now.
