Oh, okay

...

the normative range for the total testosterone.
7:55
And what you, that question you just asked is really good because there's not necessarily a one-size-fits-all approach here in terms of dosage and testosterone levels, right? So what we're, what you're trying to achieve with TRT is kind of getting the net highest benefits to risks and, um, side effects because all drugs come with trade-offs, right? It's, it's no different.
8:16
Testosterone's the same.
8:17
Taking it provides some benefits, but also the more you take, like, the more risks that you will also incur.
8:23
And I'm not trying to make it sound scary, but it's the reality of all drugs, right? So with TRT, what we're trying to do is get you at a point where your symptoms are ameliorated and you are dealing with as minimal side effects and risks as possible, right? So for, just to throw some numbers out there as an example, right? Like, uh, if you have somebody who is testosterone, like, 200, and they start TRT and their test gets to, like, you know, 400, 500, now they're in the normative range, it's very likely that they will probably see a lot of improvements in whatever symptoms they were experiencing without, like, a ton of complications, right? Now, if you take that same person and get them from, like, 400 or 500 up to 700, right, with more, you know, with more medication, are they gonna feel a little bit better? Maybe, maybe not.
