Yeah, that's a great question.

You know, I think it all-- it did develop very much organically, right? We started with a bunch of academics in the US, scientists that were just fed up with the environmental impact of research, and they wanted to do something about it.

And so, you know, we began to build a standard really as a way to simplify so everybody wasn't building their own tools independently.

What if we collaborated on a single tool? And that then became My Green Lab.

I joined the organization first as a strategic advisor.

So we were founded by a neuroscientist, a Harvard-educated neuroscientist named Alison Paradise, that got fed up with the environmental impact of research.
