8:11
Mm.
8:12
Sheen never used a note in his preaching, and he f- and w- since he was ordained a priest, he said, "I'm, I, I'm, I'm never gonna use a note.
8:19
I'm always gonna preach, um, without notes." And exactly the opposite of Newman, and both are considered great preachers, um, great orators, but just different styles altogether.
8:32
So, um, that's a great introduction to Newman, those sermons.
8:36
They're bite-sized.
8:37

So much so that the university of Kansas got a little concerned that, uh, maybe they were proselytizing classroom, a state university, but you know, they did actually had some hearings and the Dean of the college of liberal arts and sciences, uh, threw the case out and said, no, there's no evidence of proselytizing.
9:25
These are just students that have discovered the faith through reading literature, great literature and poetry.
9:31
And so, yeah, it was just tremendously successful until the professors retired,
12:53
Yeah, Our Lady of the Pilgrim.
12:55
Yeah, yeah.
