But the environmental effects of a software-like narrative or like even some of your competitors, read us down on what is actually happening.
7:10
Yeah.
7:11
So...
7:12
Just to kind of give a high level view on this, I'll sort of try and represent the opposition to this perspective, which is that you would often hear people saying, as we begin to use more AI, there are increasingly more data centers that are being built.
7:36
They're being built faster than they ever have.
7:40
And huge amounts of land is being purchased to build these big, ugly data centers, sometimes right in people's backyards.
7:52
Huge amounts of power is required to run these data centers, which means...

64:30
But with you, like you were one of us, which I find very interesting.
12:51
Do I trust AI to choose which ones not to use? So I'd love to hear your thoughts about that.
12:57
Yeah, I think what you were saying, Laura, is really important about, you know, I fundamentally believe that interpreting the photographic moment as a human act, which means that.
13:09
I don't think that there will be a future where you will, as AI continues to get better, click a magic button, and then instantly you'll have the perfect selection already done for you.
13:23
Because you have to be involved in that process.
13:27
There are things which you understand about...
13:31
the couple, their desires, you know, things that are important to them or that are kind of so integral to, to selecting the right moments.
13:42
And sometimes the right moment is, it's just not the obvious moment.

19:49
Like, so what, what differentiates, like, how can you make those claims as narrative when other people are making those claims? And we know that that's not necessarily what's always happening.
22:14
But yeah, if you wanna go ahead and share your screen and give them a little tutorial.
22:20
Okay, cool.
22:22
Cool, so this is narrative.
22:23
When you return from your photo shoot, you would jump in, drop a folder of images in here, and it's gonna begin the process of analyzing each of those images.
22:39
All of the assessments happen locally on your computer.
22:44
So you don't need to upload the images into some cloud server for the processing to happen.
22:51
It all happens locally, you can be on an aeroplane, you can be anywhere you want.

29:11
Those are sort of like
16:50
in their businesses?
16:51
Mm.
16:53
Mm.
16:53
Yeah.
16:53
I mean, talking specifically about something like Narrative, the thing that is great about it is that you can, you can engage with it at the, you can engage with the AI at the level that you feel comfortable with.
17:07
At the most simple end of it, you can just use Narrative to navigate through your images lightning fast.
17:14
When we originally built it, I said to the engineers, I was like, "Just as a base level, it just has to be as fast as Photo Mechanic, and then we can layer all this intelligence on top of it." Uh, and some of the really simple AI features are assessment indicators that live underneath every face, and they show you the status of the person's eye and the focus level of the face.

Yeah.
