But before we get into that, Jake, could you perhaps explain to people in my audience what the Hind Rajab Foundation is, what it seeks to do, why is it named Hind Rajab, all of that?

Jake RahmGUEST
sure yeah so the hindu job foundation was started in very early 2024 um and what we do is we're dedicated to pursuing accountability for israel's war crimes and genocide in all of palestine and southern lebanon right and the reason we're named the hindu rajab foundation is we're named after um hindra who was a five-year-old little girl who was murdered along with her um her family and two paramedics by the Israeli forces in Gaza in January of 2024.

Jake RahmGUEST
And many of your viewers I'm sure will be familiar with this murder because what we have is audio from five-year-old Hind and her cousin Leon calling the paramedics and begging them for help as they sat in their car among the corpses of their family who had been killed already by the Israeli military.

Jake RahmGUEST
And of course, the paramedics did come and they were in turn killed by the Israelis.

Jake RahmGUEST
But we chose it not because it was atypical, but rather because it's actually really indicative of what the Israelis have been doing to the Palestinians, and again, also in southern Lebanon, throughout the course of these genocides.

How does this work? And will it work at all, really? Like, is there a likelihood that this will fall on deaf ears? What's the overall expectation from our legal institutions?

So what kind of successes have you had so far? Have you had any yet or are you still in the process?

Jake RommGUEST
You know, we're operating from a position of the like the world has abandoned the Palestinian people and if not outright backs their extermination.
