How are you seeing, how does this coercion work after a disaster where you try to take another shot at the country's sovereignty?
14:16
Yeah, that's definitely what I wanted to try to explain in relation to what did happen in Haiti after the earthquake.
14:26
And it was kind of the use of aid as like a Trojan horse almost to bring these, you know, NGOs and honestly political NGO fronts like the Clinton Foundation in Haiti together.
14:44
promising billions of dollars in aid, but completely circumventing the involvement of the government of the country that needs the aid.
14:54
So instead of having Haitians manage the aid money, These NGOs completely shut the government out, what government was left in Haiti.
15:09
There was no input, little to no input from most of the government on the Haitian people on how that money would be spent, where it would be spent, who would receive those funds and where it was needed the most.
15:23
And so you ended up having things like the Carousel Industrial Park, where all of the garment industry sweatshops, basically, from Hanes and what is it, Old Navy and these kind of companies have their operations exploiting Haitian labor that was supposed to be a way for farmers who had lost land and opportunities from the earthquake to receive assistance and to receive their homes and their land and their livelihood back.
