So for me, if we're doing this show on July 2nd instead of June 2nd and the Mets had a good month, and let's just say they're a couple games out of the wild card and you're gonna consider buying at least to some degree at the trade deadline, starting pitcher would top my list.

Let me give you just to sort of think bigger picture in terms of Michael's question of what the Mets schedule looks like the next month and how, at least I think, it's gonna be the difference maker as to how David Stearns goes about this deadline.

Since the 12 game losing streak, Mets have played, let me just pull this up, uh, at home against the Twins, Rockies, Nationals, at the Angels, Rockies, D-backs, Tigers swept them, Yankees, at Nationals, at Marlins, verse Reds, then the Marlins, and have gone 19 and 18 in that stretch.

Four of those eight teams are over .500.

Since then, coming up three game series, well, we're in the three game series at Seattle, at San Diego, three verse St. Louis, three verse Atlanta, at Cincinnati for three, at Philly, four against the Cubs at home, three verse the Phillies.

The next team they play that's under .500, and I'm not even necessarily putting them in this category, is June 29th at Toronto.

I'm gonna give the AL PennantThe, the reigning AL pennant winners the benefit of the doubt, let's say they're over .500 by that point.

Um, I'm not declaring that the Mets are going to make that big run, but this next three to four week stretch is going to be absolutely season defining.
