Can you catch us up on why you went out to California and what brought you back?

Yeah, we moved to California on the tail end of COVID because my partner, Kate, we weren't yet married at the time, was having a career change and was going back to school.

And the school that she wanted to go to was in Los Angeles.

And I thought it would be this great adventure.

The band... was changing.

We were kind of, after that first year of COVID, realizing we wanted to tour differently and with less frequency.

And so it felt more possible to be a full coast away from my bandmates.

Ain't that the truth.
