And how did you pick eye doctors? How did you decide on that so specific?

Yeah, so kind of unique situation for me.

I started my career in public accounting, so started out at a very traditional CPA firm, worked with a lot of different clients.

I think at that firm, I think I actually only worked with one eye doctor and not at a deep level, but got a little bit of experience there.

But kind of in the mix of that, there was a kind of a local ophthalmology kind of practice that did kind of medical side of, you know, on the eyes and also kind of on the optometry side, but was able to eventually go work with them as their full time CFO.

And so kind of exited public accounting, got into industry.

know work for them for for several years and really that's where i learned the optometric industry from the ground up um you know kind of understand how a clinic runs how medical billing is is done how you know patient flow and kind of all these things that come with the industry um so you know was in there for for a few years and then is I would go to these different conferences.
