When you think

you know everything, you don't.

You're always constantly learning.

And the difference between two takes could be insurmountable.

You'll do one version of the scene that you've presented and the teacher might say to you, yeah, okay, what if this was happening for the character? Or what if your scene partner was actually thinking something else? You've got to work hard to get their attention.

And you go, oh, I've just completely missed the point of this scene entirely.

And so you get humbled very quickly.
