So it happened with a BC Ferry, the Queen of Surrey, um, on Sunday afternoon around 1:40, and it was leaving Langdale to go to Horseshoe Bay.

The accident, the collision happened near the Grace Islands.

Um, this is the location, uh, where almost a year to the day, there was another humpback, um, hit and found dead, not by BC Ferries.

It's an area known to have humpbacks.

The ferry was traveling at 16 knots, which is about 30 kilometers per hour.
