Like on ice or just like
27:27
fresh off of the carcass? Meat, fish and chicken.
27:31
We would show up to the warehouse in the morning and they had all these freezers plugged in.
27:36
Right.
27:39
And another guy that unplugged the freezer was packed full of meat, chicken, and fish.
27:46
And you were off until the freezer was empty.
27:51
You just kept pushing it and dropping the price wherever you had to go to get rid of the meat? No, I mean, the prices were set.
BarryHOST
29:30
sure.
27:11
Give us some of those
27:12
...
27:12
the, the, the biggest thing that I, that I always start with is, um, you know, we're all born with the DNA of a winner.
27:20
It's our, it's our birthright, right? You, you come out, every- everyone that has children, you know, and parents, you, you want the very best for your kids.
27:29
That's always the intention, is, you know, you wanna load your kids up so they can go and be, be successful in life.
27:35
So I'm a believer that we're all born with the DNA, and it's our birthright to go out and be successful.
27:42
The thing, though, that separates winning from losing, success from failure, it's a thin line, and it's called preparation.

15 MINS LATER

42:59
Yeah
NickHOST
21:34
Mm-hmm.
21:34
And, but I, I love that, that feeling of being a rookie.
21:38
I, I've always loved doing something new.
21:41
So, you know, here I am.
21:42
I sign up for the Moab 240.
21:45
Uh, long story short, I make it 138 miles, and I had run out of water, so I did eight miles with no water, developed the beginnings of rhabdo, which is a, a very serious, um, kidney.
22:01
You know, you can shut down your kidneys.

17 MINS LATER

NickHOST
38:54
Pits, Koha, Tahoe
85:51
... footwork.
85:51
Yeah, 'cause it's ...
85:52
I g- I wanted to get into something competitive and different after I retired, and I started doing boxing lessons just 'cause I wasn't a big weightlifter, so I- It was like, oh, I needed something to work out on.
86:02
And, uh, he was talking about, like, the most explosive athletes are boxers on how fast they have to move.
86:07
He said, "But the key is they're always moving their feet.
86:09
They're always athletic." So we kinda took that in.
86:12
I would like it to be a little less of the step, step, step.
87:00
How many times do you go, "Hey, listen, I saw this," and you guys talk about, you know, what, what to work on and how to improve?
45:12
How many times do you go, hey, listen, I saw this, and you guys talk about
45:16
what to work on and how to improve? For sure.
45:19
I think for the most part, it's him coming to me with something just because I don't want to say, hey, I got something for you.
45:25
If he's feeling good and he's doing something that mechanically – maybe I think is not what he's normally doing, but it's working, then you keep doing it.
45:32
Whatever words, keep doing it.
45:33
So it's for like for right now, like I talk about his timing and you're finding a lot of balls in the air lately since he's been back and even in his rehab assignment.
45:40
So we talk about how to angle the bat to start to make it so it's a little more flatter, getting back to his type of swing.

7 MINS LATER

52:52
Come on.
5:27
So, yeah, Jack, would you mind giving us a summary of the meta-analysis sort of which was published in our April issue? Yeah, of course, Dustin.
5:36
You know, mental health and substance use disorders are among the most common conditions for which cannabis is used to treat, but we don't actually have an up-to-date or comprehensive understanding of how effective or safe they are for treating these conditions.
5:52
So we conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomised control trials where cannabis was used to treat any mental health or substance use disorder.
6:03
And when we looked at the studies, we found that there were 54 randomized controlled trials that investigated the use of cannabis for the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.
6:13
We found no evidence to suggest that cannabis was effective in treating depression, anxiety, or PTSD among that RCT evidence.
6:22
And that's concerning because they're three of the leading mental health conditions which cannabis is often prescribed.
6:29
In fact, there was not a single RCT that examined cannabis use for the treatment of depression.
7:54
But I'm curious to get your perspective on why do you think people are sort of so willing to overlook the gaps in our knowledge about cannabinoids, but still there's this push to use them for treating mental health disorders? And then also maybe to ignore some of the fact that cannabinoids are not necessarily harmless too, right? They could be causing harm.
71:54
'Cause we see some guys who get hurt, and they vanish.
71:57
Yeah.
71:57
Yeah, well, sometimes, like I got sent to Bradenton, Florida.
72:00
I didn't even see the, the, the rest of the Pirates [laughs] for, like, two months.
72:03
Like, they sent me out because I was gonna have so much of a rehab, they sent me to, uh, you know, spring training.
72:08
But, you know, for him, like, the first thing you think of is, like, okay, what can you...
72:12
How can you turn this into a benefit? Like, okay, you can be a really good teammate.
76:01
Father of Jacob Wilson, and, you know, i- if you could go into the clubhouse and say, "Hey, man, I want you to talk to Hernáiz, I want you to talk to Gelof, I want you to talk to these certain guys," what advice would you give these guys? That next up mentality, but this is now your chance to shine.
45:06
'Cause we see some guys who get hurt, and they vanish.
45:09
Yeah.
45:09
Yeah.
45:10
Well, sometimes, like, I got sent to Bradenton, Florida.
45:12
I didn't even see the, the, the rest of the Pirates [laughs] for, like, two months.
45:15
Like, they sent me out because I was gonna have so much of a rehab, they sent me to, uh, you know, spring training.
45:20
But, you know, for him, like, the first thing you think of is, like, okay, what can you ... how can you turn this into a benefit? Like, okay, you can be a really good teammate.
49:13
