okay so my next question was going to be about one change that's really had an impact on on your farm and it sounds like that would be one of them so jack for you In the last few years for you, what have been the biggest changes that you've seen on farms and the businesses that you've been advising that's really delivered in soil health?

Jack PearceGUEST
I think in terms of soil health and looking at the way we farm, Jeff touched on it briefly with basic payment scheme and agricultural support.

Jack PearceGUEST
I think that has probably been the safety net which has been supporting farms and has meant that that has been their profit.

Jack PearceGUEST
Baroness Bass's review, which of course came out several months ago, I think that was a prime example.

Jack PearceGUEST
example and a whole raft of reasons as to why agriculture is potentially struggling in this opportunity space at the moment.

Jack PearceGUEST
I think in terms of things which have changed, for me, from a business perspective, Peter, it is margin as opposed to yield.

Jack PearceGUEST
And it sounds like Jeff was, of course, one of the trailblazers in that and is actually asking yourself the question as to why are we doing that? Is it because we want to do it and that's the aims of the business? Is it because there's social capital being provided? Is it to enable, you know, another enterprise such as shooting to happen on the farm on the estate? Or is it to make money? I think that's always a really good starting point is understanding what are the aims of the business and what are the objectives.
