How much does Trump help Blakeman? How much could he hurt him?
17:04
Well, you know, I think Blakeman was trying to, to make those points last night, um, uh, uh, especially around, um, immigration and, and especially around, um, uh, women's rights to, to put some distance between him and Trump.
17:18
But I think overall, in a state like New York where Trump is not popular, right? He has not, [laughs] not won New York and, and, you know, it, it just seems like here in the midterm, um, he's even further down, um, than he was two years ago.
17:32
And so, um, certainly the Hochul campaign has an expectation that that's gonna, gonna hurt Blakeman.
17:39
A- and you can see that Blakeman has some concern about it too, which is why he keeps talking about those differences.
17:45
At the same time, he, he knows he needs Trump to try to drive Republican turnout, hence the, the rally in Syracuse, um, late last week.
17:55
So, uh, it really a double-edged sword for the Blakeman campaign.

And I-- without the excitement or, you know, a, really a, a marquee race that brings people to the polls, are we seeing that same effect here?
20:57
What are some of the problems that people come across when they try to do that?
21:04
Yeah, that's right.
21:06
When someone passes away, I think their family members can often be hit with a bit of surprise when they realise just the various costs that need to be incurred to honour their loved one by way of a funeral, but also then, of course, actually administering their estate, so taking control of their assets, their home, paying the bills, paying utility bills.
21:31
These bills don't wait.
21:33
You mentioned before that a funeral is often the first thing that comes to mind.
21:37
The average funeral in Australia now costs about $14,000.
21:43
There may be some limited avenues for a family to be able to access some funds from a bank account in the deceased's name, but that can be limited, and that is relying, of course, on there actually being cash in an account.
24:03
While, as you say, sorting out the rest of the state is going to take at least six months and probably longer.
