41:29
Did you feel that from him as well?
41:32
Absolutely, yeah.
41:34
His last bit of work was very good.
41:37
He's always threatened to be a horse at the top level.
41:42
The only concern we really had was the ground because it dried out quite a bit there.
41:45
It had like a mini heatwave over there.
41:49
But he's proven to run well on quickish ground anyway.
42:34
And how did that connection come about in the first place? It's obviously become a really useful string to your bow.
14:59
true.
14:59
The running the ledger dispatch has been kind of a dream.
15:04
I'm not going to say you like everything you see, but I do like the fact that it's small enough that you can spit in my face when I get it wrong or that you answer to it.
15:14
And just an amazing area.
15:19
That is as close to the Midwest, and I don't mean to knock California, as if you're not from, but it's the people that are so friendly and so amazing that really drew me in.
15:30
And then living in Ione at one point a while back, I got this wild idea to run.
15:37
Well, I was running articles on Mule Creek contamination from the California Department of Corrections.

13 MINS LATER

28:48
Yeah.
39:08
Do you still think that was a career best?
39:11
um personally i mean it's the first time i've ridden her but um we went i had a plan of sort of making the running also in second i think she's quite versatile in in how you ride her but um when the horse drawn 10 went a million miles an hour to get around me she um she settled lovely i thought from two and a half out that i'd win um And also, I love the gallop out.
39:38
I think she'll probably get further.
39:39
So it was a good spot.
39:41
It was a good bit of placing.
39:45
And, you know, it's a race they target every year.
39:48
And can she do better in stakes company in Britain or Ireland, do you think?
39:54
I think so.
