So what made you decide to step out into your own practice?

It really happened organically, which was nice.

I think in a really succinct summary that the journey started when we moved down here and I left a really stressful job in Canberra.

It wasn't really working for kids and there was no balance.

And so...

We bought a house down the coast and I went into aged care and took a big hit on income but for work-life balance.

And that was sort of like a I can breathe again sort of moment.

And what do you hope your children learn watching you run a business?
