So I'm wondering if it's kind of taken different forms throughout you pitching that.

Jack HinksGUEST
It's basically since the show when I was like, hey, this could be cool to do as a recorded version, because I know we film the live shows and film the fringe, and we have a copy of the poems on it.

Jack HinksGUEST
But it was like, if we're going to have a definitive show, like a definitive product that could be toured and recreated, I think I could do something cooler with time than what I did as a live take for these poems.

Jack HinksGUEST
Um, so we've been talking about that basically since the show, but the production of the show actually, so effectively started in March and, We had two rehearsals, bearing in mind we had already written, like, I'd written the music for the show and we'd done the show like four or so times before.

Jack HinksGUEST
So it wasn't like I need to start everything from scratch, but it was a let's workshop these.

Jack HinksGUEST
Are there any bits that we think we need to tighten up? how like think through the logistics of how are we going to record this how are we going to do this a song someone's going to have click tracks what's the bpm i think we should sit this what's time signature is this one and blah blah blah so sure yeah i came with like prep tracks being like right i think this poem works at this speed please rehearse this poem listening to like a click track of a um in your ears and get used to that pace because I will then play along with you either live or you go in, you do your performance to that, to that meter and that tempo.
