I, um, grew up in Christchurch, and while a student at uni, became very passionate about land use issues and urbanism, YIMBYism.

What'd they tell you? What was the key thing? What are your bits of advice for the next person?

One of the big messages that we got from them- is that most of their advocacy efforts came from one to three people and maybe five at most at the peak of it and now looking at them which seemed like very comprehensive campaigns was very inspiring that we were a group of three to five passionate people maybe we could do this
