[chuckles] Um, what, what was the catalyst behind the shift? Was it just you'd been with your old coach for a long time and you just wanted to, to turn a new page, like not- nothing necessarily wrong, or was there, uh, something burning inside of you that sort of you knew that you had to make a change?
8:15
Um, nothing burning.
8:17
I hadn't actually been with my old coach that long, I think a year and a few months.
8:22
Um, and so before working with him, I had, uh, coached myself for about eight months, a year.
8:30
And, uh, I feel like that kind of put me in a bit of a...
8:38
Uh, and if I could go back, I probably would've done some of my training differently.
8:42
I think it was, it was really productive training, but not necessarily to see results on, in a competition at that time.

Do you feel like you're at a point now where, uh, you're very confident that you'll qualify for whatever comps that you are trying to, um, trying to w- wanna participate in, or you still think that there's a little bit there of, you know, if something goes wrong or something doesn't quite go your way, that you have that, I suppose, the nerves or the, the anxiety around not being able to qualify?
12:14
All that stuff is on the fly thinking, and, like, I love that.
12:20
Yeah.
12:21
Um, I feel like, uh, we won probably the competition because of our individual abilities.
12:31
I think if we looked at the team scores, we were pretty poor.
12:37
Probably last place or second to last place.
12:39
But, um, on most of the, uh ...
12:42
Well, yeah, we came last technically in the, um, in aftershock last on the beach run after we got a penalty.

Yeah

Make it good.
33:45
I don't know.
33:46
I feel like I had a similar start to Dallin, just wildly less successful in the teenage division.
33:58
As a kid watching like the teens and wanting to do that stuff.
34:02
So that's what I did.
34:04
And I made the games as a teenager one year as a 17 year old.
34:09
I think I came six or something.

You and Emma still work with the same endurance coach, right? Because Emma's with that coach and Matt does her CrossFit.
