Between some of those previously existing events not renewing and the pandemic coming around, there's just been a bit of a gap.

There is a whole wave of people who e- even left the coffee industry altogether, and that, I believe, like, has led to a little bit of a gap in the mentorship that just happens naturally when people are, like, moving through life from spot to spot and place to place and growing and evolving in their coffee career if they wanna stay in coffee.

In addition to that, like, through last year's event and this space that we talked about creating, there is a whole influx of so many people who are, like, really passionate in wanting to mentor and share the knowledge and connect people with opportunities and, and just, like, lift people up.

And even here in New York, like, I know plenty of people who still get together, and they'll just go and, like, pour together at each other's-Apartments and stuff, but when you have an event that's a little bit at a larger scale that brings even more people together with really, really interested teachers, a lot of fun stuff happens.
