And so what should, um, people understand about this, uh, smaller group of patients and the unmet needs that they still face?

Itziar CanamasasGUEST
Lung cancer claims more lives than any other cancer type, and, uh, more than 200,000 lung cancer cases are diagnosed in the US annually.

Itziar CanamasasGUEST
And, um, because of that, more targeted treatment options are still needed to provide these patients in need with the more effective treatments for that type of cancer.

Itziar CanamasasGUEST
In particularly HER2 mutant non-small cell lung cancer that you were alluding to, it's really a small molecularly defined subset of lung cancer that occurs in only about 2 to 4% of the cases.

Itziar CanamasasGUEST
And because of its size, it has historically lagged behind other biomarker-driven lung cancers in research and drug development, despite typically being aggressive and associated with poorer prognosis.

And so as targeted therapies are becoming more personalized, um, do you think expectations are also changing around what treatment success, uh, could look like?
