Right? So what's your perspective on that? Am I

reading that correctly? No, absolutely.

You know, Leon... sees the parallels between the music industry and the streets.

And he sees a lot of his old street colleagues going into the music industry.

So it's one of those things where the woman he loves is kind of pulling him back into his old ways.

And so it's a lot to navigate, like his love for this woman.

But also, he still has a lot of trauma that he's unpacking, like the death of that little girl.

From a Leon or Isaiah standpoint, or from a Gail or a Wanda standpoint, what are you looking forward to for the overall storyline of The Drop?

Well, how does it feel? Does it feel like you're still in that same family or not? Do you feel like it's a different world now?

Yeah, it definitely felt like a different world.

And, you know, it feels like we created a new family, you know what I mean? And it's something that we're able to, you know, cultivate and we all enjoy each other and we enjoy each other on and off set.

And that's the great thing because you can really see that that bond on screen, you know, it's so authentic.

Do you like it? Do they say, we want you to do more of this? You know, how does that roll?

You know, what I notice is that a lot of, you know, individuals that come from the same background as Leon, they feel seen, you know? And they feel like they have a voice.

And for them to say that, that means that... to a degree they almost see no flaw and they see themselves and to me that like that that was definitely a goal is for another human being to see themselves in the way that i'm portraying this human being um so yeah they definitely they definitely love it and are very receptive for sure

How did your life change when you first joined the series? And when you think of like your most amazing experiences since your success, which first comes to mind?

I mean, honestly, there's not really one in particular.

One thing I will say that I've been enjoying is the fact that portraying this character, Leon, and the arc that I was able to play in Snowfall, I noticed that...

From what fans tell me, the character Leon has helped a lot of people change their lives.

I mean, there was this one guy who came up to me and told me that watching the arc and just seeing Leon overcome everything that he's overcome helped him overcome his drug addiction.

So stuff like that, to me, is what is more on the touching side of being in this position.

and for you too isaiah what was it like acting and performing and working and being immersed in this different time period

i mean you know so i booked snowfall when i was 20 years old so i had to experience the 80s during my 20s so now that i'm now that i'm 30 i'm like experiencing my 90s all over again so it was it was cool i mean like the best part for me i'm not gonna lie is like driving the old school cars like it's just so fun Like there's no technology in these cars whatsoever.
