So the actual molecules they release after the calcium builds up that then act on neurons that... either lead to swimming, the swim neurons, or the ones that inhibit swimming.

So they were able to fill out the details in this circuit.

And then another group was looking at a completely different system.

They were looking at slices of the hippocampus and mice.

Is this something that researchers are thinking about?
