I have a lot of different parts to my job.

We mentioned earlier about pre-concert talks, which are a way of welcoming everyone to our classical concerts and introducing them to the music.

I also conduct a lot of our education, youth and family concerts and introduce those to our audiences.

And I also conduct the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra, which is wonderful.

part of our enormous learning musical program that we have as part of our civic youth ensembles and our community ensembles so i wear a lot of different hats but i think the thing that unites them all is really trying to welcome people to all of the different things that dso does and help people connect with the music
