What was it like? What did you learn?

Oh, I absolutely loved it.

Like, I thought it was class.

I feel really grateful that I was in a team with a group of girls that, like, really made me feel welcome.

Like, straight away, like, they were helping with anything.

Like, I was going away with their families if it was, like, Easter.

Like, they'd never, like, leave me in Brizzy on my own and, like...

What is she like to work under and how does she differ maybe from when she's been an assistant coach or a technical coach to then moving into a head coach role?

it feels like every time we go through these cycles there's more change than you would anticipate Commonwealth Games squad sort of four years ago only sort of three of the girls are kind of part of the squad but the World Cup squad not so long ago almost half the squad maybe just a bit more so what where do you think this squad is in terms of its ability and its all-round kind of expectation and hope

well I think when what it looks it looks like there's a lot of change but like I guess what people don't see is the fact that like all of us have been training together for like quite a long time.

And I think even when not being selected for squads for things, like a lot of the girls have been in the program for a long time.

Like a lot of the girls have been maybe in and out of squads in the series, like within the years, like it's not just the major tournaments.

And I just think we've, we've had a lot of experiences together and we've been able to really gel and come together as a group and work together to be on the same page.

And I think that, everyone's worked really hard to do that and I think it's really important that we can lean on those shared experiences and be able to come together for a major tournament which is filled with fun and excitement and adrenaline and that's this is the fun bit this is where we get to kind of just let like all the hard work just go out there on court and play with freedom and know that we can trust each other.

How good a platform is that when you go into a major games, right? Because that at the moment is still the very best of the best.
