I was not surprised, to be honest.

Uh, Ibrahim, uh, how significant do you think these airstrikes are today?

Uh, thank you for having me on the program.

I think it is very significant.

As we all know, you know, it's, uh, after the change, uh, the regime, um, the, the change of Assad regime 8th of December 2024, the Israelis like, uh, carried out several...

I mean, we're talking about 400 airstrikes on Syria.

They destroyed the whole strategic assets, air force, navy, all m- um, ballistic missiles programs, uh, all been, all of them been destroyed by the Israelis.

And since then, since the last eight, uh, 20 months, we of course we witnessed several airstrikes from the Israelis on Syria.

What is the current situation in Syria a year and a half after the Assad regime fell?

That was her tipping point.

She knew about it, and I think at certain point she, uh, conciled with it, but she accepted the new reality, uh, that they had this kind of marriage relations between her and, uh, Bashar, and she accepted that this is how it is, and she had his own, her own life, and she had his own life.

There was a sort of trade-off, I guess.
