Um, but yeah, I feel like just with all the tech kind of coming back, would love to know, uh, with breadth, you know, what has been the balance? What are you seeing from a relative strength perspective? Anything there that's worth highlighting?
5:00
Yeah.
5:01
Breadth, breadth is very poor, and so that's where things look weird.
5:03
Um, 'cause if you just look at the, the headline numbers, I mean, the S&P's really clo- within a couple percent of all-time highs.
5:10
Um, you have other areas doing well, like you mentioned tech showing a little bit of resurgence over the past few weeks.
5:15
But if you look at our parti- re- participation or breadth indicators that just say, okay, we understand maybe the headline indices are doing, are doing pretty well, but how are the underlying stocks underneath the hood doing? Um, and the answer's not great.
5:26
And so when you look at those, we typically look at them kind of three...
8:19
Yeah.

Um, is that something you've seen in the past in terms of, like, this span? Is this normal, unusual versus the past? Would love to know.
3:16
Yeah, well, I-- it depends on what you define past.
3:18
But I ha- I hate to answer a question with a depends, but I mean, it, it-- So these rankings are meant to be big, broad market, uh, long-term picture relative strength.
3:27
So they're, they're not meant to change every day, every week, every month.
3:30
Um, we tend to see them be pretty consistent.
3:32
Once leadership gets going in one direction, it tends, hopefully w- it stays in that direction.
3:36
That's a whole, um, ideal, ideal route for any momentum strategy when it capitalizes on a, a trend.
