Can you please describe, uh, for the jury the, the search pattern you used as far as flying the drone?

So, um, based off of what the Tipp City Police Department, uh, requested at the time, I did what a circular, um, pattern around the residence.

And then once I had finished doing a circle pattern of the residence, I did what's called a grid search, um, where it's, um, it's a grid system where you'll go in a straight line and then move over to a portion of the next grid and double back and so on.

Repeat that pattern until you've covered the area.

And how were you able to identify those as animals?

So one of the ways that we determine the animals is, one, based on the size of, of a, a small rabbit.

It's very identifiable.

It has a small heat signature.
