W- what do you see as the maybe the benefits or the challenges o- of that age range?
H

Um, I think there's many benefits that we're kinda hearing from a wide, uh, range.
H

Uh, this both comes from middle school but also high school students, and so the perspective and also the challenges and barriers that each kind of age group, uh, faces is kinda more adequately represented within our, our group.

That being said, it is kind of, uh, diff- different and difficult, especially as we go from, like, middle school to high school, because some of the issues and kinda conversations might differ a little bit, especially when we think about, um, certain topic areas like, uh, possibly, like, substance use that may be more applicable for, um, high school students.
H

Uh, whereas, um, but in general, our recommendations address both middle school and high schools, and I really do think that the benefits of our age group significantly outweigh any sort of, uh, consequences of that.

Dave MillerHOST
I mean, how much are youth commission recommendations actually enacted? Hunter, are there examples of that happening in recent years?
