So when she gets to court, if it's juvenile court only, will there be a mental evaluation? Will they look at her background? Will they talk to teachers? Like, what type of assessment are y'all going to do?

I'm glad you asked, um, because typically, yes.

With something of this severity or, or a crime of this nature, immediately we would ask for a psychological, in some cases, a psychosexual, and we have therapists that do that for us.

Um, in this case, the high school she attends has come out and said that she has severe mental health issues.

She's already a graduate, but she's still only 17, which I understand young birthdays, but that does come into play here.

Maybe online school.

Maybe she's not really safe around her peers, like my sister pointed out.

Is that something you would also research as somebody in intake and an investigator?
