Hoth

So it just felt really fresh and unique.

Like you go to Hoth and you talk to Imperial people who are there and they go, man, it's cold here.

Okay.

Yeah, sure.

No, we're not.

You know, we're like two guys in a droid in a beat up ship going like, are they going to pay us for this gig or are we just getting, you know, like Hoth icebreakers in payment or whatever? So that's the that's the back story.

I feel like the, oh, what's her name? Taylor Swift is similar.

She's struggling when she sings about not being able to afford her next bills.

That's ridiculous.

That's like Hoth.

That's like Star Wars Hoth kind of cold right there, man.

That is...

That's cold.

And that's

Hoth.

That's right.

Whoa.

Empire Strikes Back.

Hoth.

We go from a desert to ice.

Oh, yeah.

We're on an ice planet now.

I like the Hoth thing.

Whatever they're writing.

I like Billy Dee Williams' Sky City.

which meant that not only were we interested in bringing back the vengeance campaign for balance of power, now actually we had the perfect opportunity to do exactly that.

And a very interesting framework of time for us to drop it into, which is the immediate post-Hoth era, where the Empire is looking to kind of mop up the evacuating rebel forces from Hoth, and the Rebel Alliance is terrified of having this enormous Super Star Destroyer get into the shipping lanes, the hyperspace lanes that they're desperately trying to evacuate along.

So then it becomes, we absolutely, you either have to tie the ship down for as long as possible, ideally blow it up, but it's a Super Star Destroyer, we understand this is going to be hard.

which kind of raises the stakes.

yeah awesome of all time wow yeah okay I like it.

What's your favorite Star Wars planet? Probably Hoth.

I think Hoth's pretty cool.

I like the stuff that happens on Hoth.

Dagobah's also pretty fascinating.

And then Endor.

Yeah, probably Hoth.

I'll go Hoth.
