And I'm wondering just, you know, without kind of like analyzing what led to that, to the decision by your predecessors, I wonder like, what were the, like, what were the implications? Basically, what would that mean for you as a fraud leader that you need to work with a vendor, with a tool that is not fit for purpose? What's the worst that can happen?
14:45
it happens a lot.
14:46
So before I think, before I go to what is the worst that can happen, it's important for me.
14:52
I've been thinking, you know, because we're in conference season and sometimes I also will get a little, a bit ranty about conferences.
14:58
And although I see the value in it and it's, it's as, you know, I've gained a lot of insight, a lot of important connections at conferences over the years, but, By necessity, they're talking almost about either what is emerging or what is three ticks past emerging.
15:13
And that used to get on my nerves a bit from having inherited existing fraud tools perspective, right? Like you're talking about the next big thing, whatever.
15:22
Back in the day, it was big data.

So any more pitfalls, like common pitfalls that we should know about?
2:37
What can I do to convince my bosses that it shouldn't?" And is that even the right question to be asking?
2:44
Um, I think it's a great starter question, and, um, one of the things that I've said many times and you've certainly nudged is, um, is a, a kind word for it, and not just you, but other people have kind of said, like, you know, speak up more on LinkedIn and, and kind of put more content out there, and I think about it every once in a while.
3:03
Uh, so maybe this will be my like springboard to like, it's the right first question to ask, but it certainly should not be the last, and I think there are better questions, but it is the question that is on a lot of people's minds right now.
3:15
So I think it's a, it's a fine starting point.
3:18
Just don't let it be your ending point.
3:20
So i-if you're worried, first of all, congratulations, you're sane and normal, 'cause if you're not, then maybe you need to send me a message or find a therapist or, uh, some other, some other kind of mental health outlet, 'cause everybody's worried right now.
3:34
And you know, most of the people in the fraud fighting world and the payments world are very smart.
