Where did the title come from?

Wedlocked.

Well, initially, it was just called Wedlock because I knew it was gonna be about, um, this marriage that, uh, the main character, Zara, felt like...

Didn't, maybe didn't realize at first, but throughout the course of the book would realize she felt trapped in, and then might literally be trapped in.

And so I think my editor accidentally said wedlocked to somebody else, and then she thought, "Huh, actually, is that a more interesting title? Is it kind of more active and-

Is there a director? Like how does that all work?

I'm the director.

I was kind of offered the opportunity to either narrate it or direct it, and I'm not an actor.
