Looking back several years later, what do you think COVID permanently changed about the way people experience cities? And what did it expose that we should have understood much earlier on?
2:40
Well, I think that people globally actually fully realized that we really need other people.
2:51
I think people, when being isolated at home, having no access to the outside, not being able to work, not being able to participate in social gatherings as we normally do, not even within families, if someone was sick, being able to be in the same room.
3:12
I think it exposed the very nature of what is fundamentally and core to us as human beings, that we are so dependent on one another.
3:24
We need one another to feel comfort, to feel joy, to feel meaning, to live, basically.
3:35
So that's one thing that I think that COVID fundamentally exposed to us.
3:42
But what we found in many of our public life surveys that we did in this period of time was that people really were seeking comfort within green areas of cities.

Why do some cities successfully translate ambitious urban strategies into physical change while others remain stuck in plans, strategies, pilots, etc., etc.? ?
