And so what I loved about how we actually came here today was that you reached out into my DMs, didn't you, after... super connected with laura brunson who many of our listeners know here that that's where i first met a lot of my community and my audience and here we are now today and i know it's a strategy that a lot of people are really quite scared about and actually don't enjoy the dms but when it's done well then here we are today and you've had some great results haven't you from dm strategy
11:04
Yeah, I don't do sales calls and I don't say that with a chip on my shoulder.
11:08
There's nothing wrong with that.
11:09
I'm happy to do a sales call, but I just don't need to.
11:11
I think we over-dramatize the whole, oh, you know, there's so much talk, oh, selling in the DMs.
11:15
It's like, the point is that the reason why people come into my DMs after about seven to 10 days and then spend four or five figures with me is because my content has done the work.
11:27
again very cliche here but it's so true when you have identified the positioning that's right and you're able to create a system for your content that means what you're posting you know is going to work like guaranteed you know I was able to go away for 21 days off this summer and I was just repurposing the things that I work and my business kept going it was great kept blowing up but it's like you have to get your content to a position where when they come into the DMs, it's literally just final couple of things they want to know, or it's like, which offer is it? They're pretty much sold because you've taken them through that by a journey in a one topic per time.
15:48
Yeah.
10:21
Like I don't hang
10:21
around.
10:23
You know, I do make big leaps.
10:25
But yeah, one thing to the other to the other.
10:26
And then from network marketing, becoming known as somebody in my company and being asked to train globally on social media for building personal brand.
10:36
Again, I saw this opportunity.
10:37
Hang on.

10 MINS LATER

20:49
i wanted to ask you one of the things that i like to talk about and we can touch on this briefly is that you um have just gained a lot of ground over on instagram in terms of you know who's following you and how you're working over there and so can you talk us through that just from a like behind the scenes like your your mindset around that and kind of the the process that you went through of really digging into that particular platform and being able to build it to the place that it is now and by the way guys we'll put her um we'll put your social media links in the in the comment so you can follow along with her as well
14:03
why do you think so many people so many women specifically if we're talking about this edge of being the obvious choice why do you think so many people struggle to identify it
14:14
why do you think that is oh so many reasons i see so much and people come to me and they're and this is my experience as well so all the things i'm about to say i've absolutely been there i've done that got the t-shirt big time so many of us follow a path that we think we should be following.
14:33
So we try and like get good at skills that perhaps are not our best.
14:38
We follow not necessarily even like a business model, but just, oh, well, you know, that coach over there is teaching things a certain way.
14:47
Yeah, that's perhaps the way that I should also teach.
14:51
And so people are very scared to let go.
14:53
They think that they are like, they're not on the best path for success.

21 MINS LATER

35:37
So having a specialism, trust, and premium positioning what do you think there's any connectors between those three things creating that in the market so having a specialism people trusting you with it and being able to position it in a premium way like what what do brands or is it brands yeah let's let's dig into that what do you think on that one i
