Set the scene for us.

Oh, well.We're in the Palace of Versailles where it was premiered, and then later by the Paris Opera.

And we're in Louis XIV's home.

We've got full orchestra, and there were many, many orchestras across the palace.

There was live music for breakfast, for lunch, for dinner, as well as all the usual balls and ballets and ceremonies.

And music would go on for days whenever requested by the king, which was all the time.

And Louis was this huge patron of the arts, and it was all about beauty and refined things and luxury.

And then as royalty walks in, the show's about to begin, but it's all about glorifying Louis XIV as well.
