It's important that the work we do doesn't just become extractive, but gives something back.

So I'm not just asking the questions, but also try to find solutions that I can work with the community with to try to use my research as a way of working on the next steps together with community.

We know that coal mining and the productive industry around extraction is going to end.

And that's part of the transition is trying to work out what's going to fill it.

What's unique at the moment with the current energy transition is the way that it is, let's call it almost like a forced transition.
