Hazel, what about you? You know, have you found it's changed? Did you go into it with a slightly more cynical view or were you kind of keen as mustard?

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
No, I went into it with a very sort of, I'm worried that we're going to lose our human skills.

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
I'm worried that, you know, we understand that our brain adapts to experience and that's this beautiful kind of, you know, built-in system of neuroplasticity that we have within our brains for it to respond to what we're asking it to do.

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
So my big fear as I went into this project was exactly the things that you were describing, that somehow we were going to stop knowing how to do all of these things like critical thinking and problem solving and reflecting and making decisions that feel complicated and effortful.

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
And if we could suddenly put this decision into an AI large language model and get an answer, You know, that is the path of least resistance, and why wouldn't we do that? Because, you know, that's kind of conserving energy and effortfulness for other things.

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
And so I went into this project really thinking, actually, how are we going to make sure that we preserve these very human skills? I still have that as a very big anchor in what we're doing, but I think I've also started to shift my mind.

Hazel HarrisonGUEST
And actually about a month after we'd started the project, I really clearly remember sitting on my sofa with Jim and him just turning to me and saying, you've changed.

Tell me, did this happen quite organically or did you find yourself needing that model?
