so I didn't have, like, a lot of expectations.

I had high ambitious goals for myself for that race, which I was just hoping to finish under 48 hours.

And once I started, I realized how ambitious that is, especially, like, once you get to that first climb, first summit, then you realize this is much more technical than it actually is.

I was hoping that it would ease off towards the end, but as you climb those two big climbs and then come back down into the valley to like halfway point about a hundred miles in, that's kind of what you think it's the hardest part.

But then I realized the last 50 or 60 miles was almost as hard as those first 50 or 60 miles.

It's less elevation gain, but it is technical trails.
