So Harry, talk us through the practical things that, you know, what happens on an ISB weekend timing wise?

yeah so i mean often we'll turn up on on the saturday afternoon quite quite a while before the concert normally kind of mid-afternoon uh we'll set up we'll you know put our stands up the percussionists will do all their stuff i kind of tend to leave them too i'm too scared of breaking something but uh they they do all of their stuff and um and then you know quite often we'll have a short rehearsal um you know sometimes just to see see what the space is like or particularly at the moment with um different movements people standing up and things like that just to see logistically how does that work um and then we'll go to one of my favorite parts of the weekend uh which won't be a surprise we'll go and have some food which is always always a pleasure um and that's always really good because that's the first real interaction we have with a lot of the the core folk as well um and the people who have made the food and the officers and often the band locals will be there, and that's a really nice part of the weekend.

And you feel that sort of excitement for what's coming.

It's all very hopeful at that point.

And then we'll go off and get changed, we'll get ready for the Saturday night and we'll go out and do our Saturday night programme.

And then after that, I'm sure it was very different with billets.

I've only had one billet since I've been in the band, so now often we'll go to a hotel, but it kind of depends where we are.

Harry, as the youngest member of the band, what would you love to see the staff band doing more of in the future? What's your vision?
