knowing the horse really well uh yeah how it stands how it works when you show up to a yard to do a horse what does the process look like do you show up and watch it go do they send you videos prior to the appointment what does that look like
9:36
So it depends on what's going on.
9:38
We don't necessarily watch everything trot up every time.
9:42
But I like to watch them at least walk out of their box because that actually tells you quite a lot about what you're seeing.
9:50
So an initial appointment, I'd want to know the history of the horse.
9:56
So a lot of the time we get, I get called in because they've had various problems that have gone on, be it soundness problems or conformational problems and things like that, which obviously lead to potentially lead to soundness problems.
10:08
So I want to know the history, spend a bit of time talking to the owner.

What does a healthy, sound foot look like, function like, that sort of maybe a regular horse owner can kind of look at their horse and be like, oh, maybe my horse is actually struggling because the toe is too long or the heel is contracted or whatever that maybe they weren't aware of before.
